How can I get on the email list?
The email list is a closed list, restricted to current members. Once the Membership Committee has received your membership application, your name will automatically be added to the email list, unless you specifically request that your name not be added.
I'm a member - how do I send email to the list?
Compose your message and send it to nmpha@yahoogroups.com.
What about employment opportunities?
NMPHA has only one paid employee, the Executive Director. If you are looking for employment in public health, please visit the New Mexico State Personnel Office's Job Search website or the New Mexico Department of Health, a state agency within the Public Health Division.
How can I find out about the plague / Hanta virus / report a restaurant?
Please call the Office of Epidemiology in Santa Fe. The number is 505 827-0006.
Where can I find resources for indigent health care? Get my birth certificate? A copy of my immunization record?
Please contact your local Public Health office - most offices have a resource list for local health care providers who offer low-cost services. They can also give you information about birth certificates and immunizations. The phone number is in the state government pages in your local phone book.
